At our SPA in Abano Terme, we offer a wide selection of massages to experience deep relaxation and well-being.
NEW! STRESS & MIND MASSAGE
This massage has an immediate regenerating action because it involves the areas most affected by stress and promotes the stress-generating impulses to travel backwards from the body to the mind, generating a profound feeling of wellbeing. It is based on slow, rhythmic and enveloping movements, which involve the whole body, especially the sensitive areas where tension is most prominent, providing an intense feeling of relief on the mind.
The main benefits include a relaxing effect, improved intestinal motility, restored sleep, a fresher and more rested appearance, and a more positive approach to everyday life. A broad-spectrum treatment with a medical-scientific approach that guarantees results at a physical and mental level.

GB Method Wellness Massage
25 or 50 min
This massage technique was developed by our team of experienced technicians and physicians to provide the body with an invigorating and beneficial effect, ideal after treatments or thermal mud baths.
Thanks to accurate manual techniques such as kneading and rubbing, the wellness massage is very beneficial to the connective tissues, circulatory system, and muscles. It conveys elasticity to the body and a pleasant feeling of comfort and relaxation.
GB Method Wellness Massage
25 or 50 min
The Deep Tissue Method consists of a special type of very effective body massage. Among its main benefits, in addition to improving the body’s posture, is the reduction of pain-causing inflammation and the improved elasticity of the connective tissues. It is a “bodywork” technique of North American origin that uses the forearm, elbow and knuckles to deliver excellent, scientifically recognised results.
This extraordinary and modern method acts on areas that are difficult to reach with traditional massage, relieving tension in the body and decontracting both superficial and deep muscles.
Intensive Decontracting Massage
50 min
A high energy technique with deep action.
Created by our team of physicians and physiotherapists, this intensive massage with decontracting action on muscle structures is dedicated to those seeking a deep action to release tension in muscle fibres and fasciae.
It relaxes the muscles and reduces their stiffness (basic tension) through a mechanical action on proprioceptors and facilitating passive hyperemia. At the same time, it acts overall on the muscle fascia, favouring its normal dynamics in non-pathological conditions.
At the end of the treatment, global myofascial stretching manoeuvres are performed to optimise joint mobility.
GB Method Haemolymphatic Draining Massage
50 min
Developed by GB experts, this massage technique simultaneously promotes blood and lymph circulation.
The manual massage movements are slow and rhythmic with a medium depth that also allows optimal muscle relaxation. Toxins and excess fluid are removed and the tissues regain elasticity and softness.
Body-lymph drainage
50 min
Lymph drainage is a massage technique with extraordinary draining effects. The slow and gentle manual technique is specifically designed to counter oedemas, swelling, lymphatic stasis and all those cases where there is the need to promote the drainage of excess fluid.
Also excellent for headaches and dark circles under the eyes, it goes perfectly with all GB beauty treatments, thermal mud baths and controlled diet regimes.
Face and Body Lymph Drainage
80 min
In this massage, the body and face are treated in the same session for a complete and comprehensive result.
Vodder Method Lymph Drainage
50 min
The Vodder lymph drainage massage is an ideal massage to counter oedema and fluid retention in tissues. It is also excellent for treating cellulite, post-surgery scars and in cases of stress and PMS.
This method originated around the 1930s and was created by physiotherapist Emil Vodder, who had been studying the lymphatic system for years. Vodder’s manual technique is performed with slow, superficial movements and a light, enveloping and rhythmic manual technique characterised by pumping manoeuvres.
The gentle massage technique is the main characteristic of this treatment and it is almost imperceptible, since it impacts the superficial tissues and not the muscular fascia, which requires different massage techniques that are faster and deeper. The pressure is usually very light and modulated according to the various body areas or in the presence of oedema, which is why it is increased in the presence of pathological lymphoedema.
The lymph node drainage manoeuvres, on the other hand, are deeper, since the aim of this technique is to empty the body of liquids, which is why the Vodder lymph drainage always starts from the neck.
At the end of the treatment, swelling due to fluid retention visibly decreases and a feeling of lightness is perceived in the treated areas and, more generally, across the body.
If light pressure and slow treatment do not suit the person’s taste or needs, this technique can be replaced with the more dynamic and faster draining haemolymphatic massage technique, as it targets both the lymphatic and blood circulation systems.
Reflexology
50 min
This massage promotes the energetic rebalancing of the body through the stimulation of specific areas of the foot. It has a beneficial action to reduce stress, tension and disorders of various kinds, even those with painful symptoms.
Shiatsu
50 min
Through acupressure and manual techniques, the body regains harmony. Ideal for treating headaches, lower back pain and loosening up joints, Shiatsu is an excellent adjunct in “remise en forme” programmes and helps reactivate the connection between body, mind, and spirit.
Tridosha Ayurvedic Massage
50 min
Warm oil and enveloping manual movements are the basic components of this wonderful massage. The oldest Indian tradition, Ayurveda or “science of life”, brings this technique dedicated to rebalancing the person’s Doshas.
Therefore, this massage can be dedicated to all three Doshas (Tridoshas) for a nourishing and energy-balancing action.
